Kevin Ollie – Attended Horace Mann Middle School in New ADAGE Basketball League. Played For Connecticut Huskies. Spent 13 Years in the NBA. Played for the Philadelphia 76ers, Minnesota Timberwolves and the Oklahoma City Thunder. After retiring from the NBA, Ollie became the head coach for Connecticut Men’s Basketball where he won the 2011 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship. Presently, Kevin Ollie is still head coach at Connecticut.
Jason Hart – Attended Horace Mann Middle School in the New ADAGE Basketball League. Played college basketball at Syracuse University. Spent his NBA career playing for several teams: Milwaukee Bucks, Spurs, Clippers, Kings, and Utah Jazz. Presently, is the assistant coach for USC’s Men Basketball Team.
Lucious Harris – Attended Audubon Middle School while playing in the New ADAGE Basketball League. Played college basketball at Long Beach State. Played in the NBA for the following teams: Dallas Mavericks, 76ers, Nets, and Cavaliers.
Gabe Pruitt – Attended John Muir Middle School while paying in the New ADAGE Basketball League. Played basketball at USC. Made front cover of Sports Illustrated. Drafted by Boston Celtic where in his rookie year, won the NBA Championship in 2007. Currently plays for Panionios of the Greek League.
Arthur Lee – Attended John Muir Middle School while paying in the New ADAGE Basketball League. Lee was the first Stanford basketball player who graced the cover of Sports Illustrated. Played for Stanford, and led his team to the final four in 1998. In his professional Euro league career, Lee has played with several Euro teams: Kombassan Konya, Cibona Zagreb, Basket Rimini, Dinamo Sassari, Hapoel Nahariya, ES Chalon sur Saône, AEL Larissa, CEZ Basketball Nymburk and APOEL Nicosia.
Curtiss Millage – Attended John Muir Middle School while paying in the New ADAGE Basketball League. He played college basketball for Arizona State. In his professional Euro league career, Curtis has played with several Euro League teams in China, Croatia, Ukraine, Russia, France, Slovenian, Latvia, Romania and Poland.
Charisse Sampson – Attended Bret Harte Middle School while paying in the New ADAGE Basketball Girls’ League. For the second consecutive year, Charisse Sampson of Washington High was selected Central City girl player of the year and heads the L.A. Times’ 1992 All-Star Girls Basketball Team. Charisse played college basketball at Kansas. Her WNBA career began with the Seattle Storms. She last played for Ibiza in LFB Spanish League in 2009.
Shanel Law – Attended both Bethune and John Muir Middle School while paying in the New ADAGE Basketball League. Played college basketball at Pepperdine where she graduated in three years.
Camille LeNoir – Attended Peary Middle School while paying in the New ADAGE Basketball League. Played college basketball at USC. In 2009, Camille was drafted in the WNBA and played for the Washington Mystics before competing in Greece.
Syreeta Stafford – Attended Peary Middle School while paying in the New ADAGE Basketball League. She was a teammate of Shanell Law at Pepperdine University girls’ basketball team.
Onyne Ibekwe – Attended John Muir Middle School while paying in the New ADAGE Basketball League. Onyne played both basketball and flag football. Played basketball at Long Beach State. Signed with the San Francisco 49ers football team.
